Off the Beaten Track... The Shack is for those adventurers and tranquility seekers looking for something quirky, affordable and peaceful. In the heart of the Midlands, you will be spoilt for choice with MTB trails, coffee shops & farm fun nearby. The space is rustic with outdoor ablutions and a separate kitchen/dining area. Exclusivity of communal ablutions/living space will be given to guests booked into The Shack (1 -4 guests) ie you will NOT be sharing the space with other guests. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen which is totally separate from the cabin. Ablutions are rustic outdoor, open air showers. (not en-suite) Walks to the river, through forests or easy access to Mountain bike trails. Picnics and children's play area. Braai area available Your host, Lundy will be available to point you in the right direction when it comes to Midlands activities on offer. The Shack is located in the heart of the Midlands Meander famous for it's craft routes, coffee shops and outdoor activities. 5 mins from the Mandela Capture Site , Piggly Wiggly (Park Run every Saturday) and 10 minutes from Midmar Dam. Fantastic single track MTB trails / Trail running right on our doorstep. Free Baz Bus transfer to The Shack from Howick. Transfers available to other areas on request. Please note that accommodation is rustic, outdoor ablutions. The communal ablutions & Kitchen/living area will be for your group's exclusive use. limited wifi available. Firewood is available to buy
