The booking includes a cooked breakfast. Someone will be on site during the majority of your stay. We will happily chat to you during breakfast and upon arrival and departure. The property is in a well-established residential area with easy access to the rail station, abbey ruins, castle mound and town centre, with attractive riverside walks and a lovely nature reserve run by the British Trust for Ornithology. It is a six-minute walk to an Aldi supermarket and a 30-minute walk to Thetford Forest. Thetford town centre has a number of reasonably-priced restaurants and a highly-rated gourmet restaurant. The Red Lion, which is part of the Wetherspoons chain, offers delicious food at a very reasonable price and is a 15-minute walk from the property. There is also an excellent cinema and a number of museums. The property is an hour's drive to Walsingham and Suffolk and Norfolk beaches. There is also easy access to Cambridge and Norwich by train. Thetford rail station is a six-minute walk away; Thetford bus station is a 12-minute walk away. We have a very gentle and friendly dog.
