The Gate Lodge has just undergone a complete renovation, uplifting it to a modern, light and spacious home. Attention to detail has been the priority during the entire process and it shows as soon as you walk through the front door. The entire cottage is your for your stay The Gate lodge is self check in so you are free to come and go as you wish. We will be contactable via phone for your stay to assist with anything we possibly can. If there is something urgent that can’t be fixed over the phone we will be available in person. The Cottage offers itself a perfect place for either a Romantic Hideaway or a peaceful Family Getaway. There are lots of activities and things to see and visit for all ages and desires! This isn't one of those cases. The nearest station to the Gate Lodge is 2.2miles away. From the station, you can easily get to Edinburgh and Glasgow without even having to get off the train! For car users, the Gate Lodge has it's own off street private parking within the gates of the Estate.
