Almost 200 years old, Primrose Cottage has been carefully refurbished and is a beautiful thatched gem. This cute Grade 2 listed cottage cleverly combines modern furnishings whilst celebrating its age and heritage and makes a perfect base for exploring the delights of Dorset and the nearby Jurassic Coast. On the ground floor the cottage has an attractive and cosy lounge with a sofa bed and a wood burning stove sitting in the inglenook fireplace. There is a circular dining table and four chairs and a bright modern kitchen with Tassimo coffee machine. The ground floor bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over and a wash basin, and a separate WC. The one room first floor which is accessed via the cottage stairs has a large bedroom with king-size bed and a cosy seating area. At the rear of the cottage is a secluded rear garden with patio and dining area including a table and chairs, and in front of the cottage there is a carefully nurtured wildflower meadow with cut paths leading to an apple tree and meandering around the garden. Ground Floor: Sitting room With sofa, armchair, and television with inglenook and wood burning stove. Dining area With dining table and chairs. Kitchen With free standing cooker, fridge freezer, and Tassimo coffee machine. Bathroom With bath, electric shower, and wash basin, and separate WC. First Floor: Bedroom With king bed, recess with hanging rail and chest of drawers. Bedroom seating area with sofa and coffee table. Outside: To the front there is a wild meadow garden with apple tree and shrubs. To the rear there is a private lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Sun loungers are available in the garden shed. Parking for two cars at the property. Primrose Cottage is a peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature, and a lovely place to relax and unwind.
