Being among The National Forest we are lucky to have fabulous walking trails on our doorstep leading to fantastic tea rooms as well as amazing country pubs - great for a relaxing drink or home cooked meal next to an open fire or sun filled beer garden. Not only do we have fantastic walking trails in The National Forest on our doorstop, we are also only a few miles from Conkers, Calke Abbey, Moira Furnace, Hickes Lodge, The Ski Centre with open air slopes, Foremark Reservoir, numerous Golf Clubs, Sharps pottery museum, 3 local garden centres and the Forestry Centre. Alton Towers, Drayton Manner (inc Thomas Land), and Twycross Zoo are also in close proximity. The neighbourhood is quiet yet has great access to the M1, M42, A38 and East Midlands Airport. We are also conveniently located within 5 minutes from many big firms who base themselves in central England making our home great for professionals who occasionally work from here.
