A light and airy maisonette, Haddon Croft features a mezzanine level bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe and dressing table, large living and dining room, fully fitted kitchen and bathroom. Haddon Croft has its own private entrance and ample parking. We are conveniently located between the market town of Newark and historic Lincoln, just off the A1133 road which h provides easy access to the A1. Additional fold out single bed or travel cot can be arranged either next to double bed upstairs or downstairs if preferred. Well behaved dogs welcome. You will have ample parking on our gravel drive for car or van as well as a small private, fully enclosed patio area.. Main entrance from side door by patio as well as double French doors and sitting out area on other side of annex. We will be available to meet and greet and to assist as much as possible during your stay. Having a genuine rural feel, Haddon Croft is situated down a quiet lane looking out over fields, and just a minutes’ walk from Spalford Warren nature reserve (Website hidden by Airbnb) which is renowned for bird and other wild life and provides delightful dog walking tracks. Local pubs providing dining and a warm pub atmosphere are the White Hart at North Scarle (dog friendly) which is 2.1 miles away and Lord Nelson at Besthorpe 2.4 miles. The popular village of Collingham, on the way to Newark, is just over 4 miles away, providing excellent local facilities including pubs, shops and other businesses, plus its own train station…. We have numerous fishing lakes close by as well as the Girton sailing club. Nearby Collingham train station connects with the LNER mainline at Newark and Lincoln.
