LOG-in to Nature !

A wonderful 100 m2 log house with every comfort and calmness you wish for your holidays right in the middle of the Őrség National Park. Situated at the very end of the village, you have the nature directly at your feet. The house is fully equipped, and the garden is fenced. You can park in the garden and you have the whole house, terrace and garden for yourself. The big terrace is fully roofed, even in rainy weather you can barbecue or relax there (furniture and grill provided). Next to the house is my own 15 hectars meadow/forest where you can easily spot out big and small deers, wildboars, foxes and birds from the 2 highseats. You can start trekking right from the gate and reach several official pathes in 5-10 minutes. If you like to bycicle there are hundreds of kilometers of good quality forests roads starting also from my gate and I provide from April until October 4 Hauser MTBs at my guests' use. If you are a horse-rider there is an excellent stable in the next village where a real expert guides you out for countryside riding on his very well educated, kind horses. The house is self-catering but you can reach me any time if you need help - I live in the same village. Just down on the street there is a farmer selling self-made oils and gradma is baking the best "rétes" (special Hungarian pastry) in front of your eyes. If you walk a bit more, like 10 minutes, you can see a place where they had saved old Hungarian farm-buildings - you can travel back in time and study, how farmers were living 100 years ago. In comfortable driving distance there are natural lakes to enjoy swimming and sun-bathing. If you are a gourmet, there are two 5-star restaurants nearby - Pajta is listed among the top 10 countryside restaurants in Hungary and the restaurant of the Apát Hotel has nearby the same level - both in beautiful surroundings. Pajta is orginizing also music evenings which has a special ambient. In Szentgotthárd you can find organic coffee shops and lovely little coffees and many restaurants are waiting for you after you finished your wellness in the town's thermal bath or you had a relaxing Swedish or Thai massage (therapist are from Thailand!). If you need more culture and adventure, you can easily drive to Austria (Riegersburg is 50, Güssing 25, Graz 1:15 min driving) or to Slovenia. The Lake Balaton is about 1:20 min driving, well worth a day-trip. For the rainy or cold days in both directions there is a first class Spa within 40 minutes (Loipersdorf and Moravske Toplice) or if you want to stay in Hungary, Lenti.
