Cosy comfortable cart lodge beside High Barn featuring extensive oak beams, kitchenette, shower room and mezzanine bedroom. Our accommodation is found at the end of a track carving through countryside farmland with distant rural views. Restored to a very high standard. Just a 5 minute stroll from two characterful well known pubs & village shop, magnificent church,& local museum. Local Framlingham town 15 mins drive. Coast only 30 mins. Ideal for two adults (regret no pets as we have our own!) Welcome to our house and village, please enjoy what we have to offer and be respectful to others in this thriving and friendly community. Visitors to our cart lodge love the privacy of being in a peaceful setting on the edge of a village but also within easy touch of many historical places of interest and the chance to walk or cycle from the property with ease. RSPB Minsmere, Southwold, Dunwich, Walberswick, & Sizewell beaches within 30 minutes drive, Aldeburgh town and beach 40 mins. Snaps village and maltings 35 mins. Woodbridge, Lowestoft, 45 mins, Norwich or Ipswich approx 50 -60 minutes. Shared driveway and designated car parking next to the cart lodge. The garden adjacent to the cart lodge is for your use but our main garden is private please. We have an external garden table and chairs for your exclusive use during your stay. We are very happy to offer help and advice during your stay but will keep out of the way unless asked! We are close to the Heritage Coast, and bird watching, walking, and taking in the local history with castles and towns are largely on our doorstep. There are several golf courses within easy reach. The village itself is friendly and enthusiastic. Food and drink in local pubs and restaurants is plentiful. Our location is however private and easy to escape even the sound of local farm roads. A public footpath skirts the property. Parking is no problem. Public transport is not well served in the village unless you have plenty of time at your disposal! However there are plenty of footpaths locally and with a vehicle the Suffolk coast and countryside are at your fingertips. We have two friendly dogs and a cat who may be inquisitive! We apologise but because of our own pets we can not invite others , we respectfully hope you will understand. To date we have relied on people's trust to keep the cartlodge clean and tidy, so do not charge extra for cleaning.
