Our lovely stone built cottage is in Appletreewick, one of the Dales' most picturesque villages, and in the heart of Wharfedale. With little to disturb the peace and quiet, Fellside makes an ideal base for a relaxing Dales holiday. Dogs welcome! You have the whole house to yourself. We make sure it is cleaned, we provide linen, towels, make the beds up and ensure the house is warm for your stay. You will be able to enjoy picnics on lawn in summertime or cosy fires in the the winter. Both front and rear gardens are enclosed so dogs can enjoy the space. Garden furniture is provided. Wifi is throughout the house. The cottage has been fully modernised whilst retaining all its period charm. Local housekeeper is responsible for cleaning Fellside Cottage on changeover days. The owner can be contacted via a Freephone to either mobile or landline number or via e-mail using the Wi-Fi connection provided. Appletreewick lies within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is near the market town of Skipton and within short drive of Dales villages of Burnsall and Grassington that lie on the River Wharfe. It makes a great walking base, but equally a relaxing holiday by the river in summertime. Two award winning pubs in the village serve good quality food. There is a local bus service running from Skipton through to Grassington that stops at the village of Appletreewick within metres of the front door. Note that the service is infrequent as this is a rural area. Nearest train station is over 8 miles away in Skipton or Ilkley. We allow up to three well behaved dogs.
