Blidarei -Transilvanian Haven

So close to the city, yet so close to nature, in the heart of the Carpathians (Cindrel Mountains) there is this wonderful place. If you want to connect to the elements, to find yourself, enjoy the silence, spend quality time with your friends, this is the place for you. Blidarei is a perfect place for hiking and landscape photography. You have the hut for yourself. In winter time, you ll have to walk for about 1 km to the cabin. Also, keep in mind that the cottage needs a few hours to start getting warm. There is no electricity. In the cabin there are a few solar flashes -you should put them in the sunlight to charge. If you really want to have electric light and charge your phones or external batteries, you can use the generator. Please, bring your sleeping bags with you. Near the cottage there are two springs with drinking water: one down in the forest, at 40 metres and one at 50 metres on the right from the country road. At 2 km is Arka Park Păltiniș, at 1 hour and a half walking (8,2 km) is Paltinis. You can have a nice walk to Rasinari (7 km) or to Arena Platos (4,8 km). Car or bus. CAR - in summer time you can park your car in the yard of the cabin. In winter time you have to let your car at km 8 fom Paltinis and walk for 1 km 200 metres. BUS - nr. 22 from Sibiu (Gara - str. G-ral Magheru - str. Constitutiei - str. C. Coposu - Calea Dumbravii - B-dul M.Viteazu - Calea Cisnadiei - str.Siretului - Calea Dumbravii - Rasinari - Paltinis). At km.8 you get down and walk for 1 km 200 metres to the cabin.
