Experience our luxury accommodation and well appointed home in a peaceful,rural and relaxing location. Ideally suited to romantic couples or those wanting a quiet holiday retreat. Close to towns with local markets and many tourist attractions such as Mont St Michel and Mortain. Living space is large and well lit with natural light, yet warm in winter as we have 2 level underfloor heating. There is a small cost for using the underfloor heating and woodburner in winter. The Barn is a bright, spacious home with a relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen is large and fitted with modern appliances and cooking utensils to satisfy most budding chefs! The guests have sole access to all the home and facilities. All costs for electricity are included. There is a small additional fee for the underfloor heating in winter. October-April. A 2 person stay is charged at the base rate for 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Additional persons are charged a supplement to cover extra linen and cleaning costs for 2nd bathroom. We are always available when needed and have a network of support persons, such as a Handyman and our wonderful housekeeper. Peaceful rural location, views and enjoyment of the beautiful countryside. Normandy Barn is ideally suited to visit Mont St Michel, Caen, Bayeux, Mortain and historic sites, local waterfalls, castles and ruins ..... not forgetting the Normandy beaches. There is little public transport in rural France, a car is essential. The Barn has ample parking with a large designated area next to the entrance for your convenience. The guests can contact with me at any time to answer questions or assist with any problems. As the property is in a rural area, please check opening times of local restaurants and bars especially in winter months. The Barn is unsuitable for young children due to the mezzanine level. Our area and surrounds are unsuitable for dogs or pets due to a large number of native woodland animals.
