Spacious, characterful and cosy barn conversion attached to our cottage in a lovely rural north Bedfordshire village. A large comfortable living room with log burner and a kitchen stocked with all the food essentials for breakfast including home made bread. The bedroom is spacious and there's a luxury shower room. Private access is via a side gate and separate private entrance. Lovely village pubs and a shop are a short stroll away and lots of other great places to eat are nearby A lovely relaxed private space provides the perfect place to wind down and recharge. Soft cotton sheets and towels ensure that your stay is relaxing and enjoyable. The bedroom is beautifully cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Large flatscreen TV with Netflix, DVD player and a large collection of DVDs, free Wi-fi and ethernet connection are included. Ideal for business travellers, couples and families who like to enjoy plenty of space and comfort whilst away from home. A side gate and path by the side of the building leads to the entrance to The Old Barn. During the warmer months, you are welcome to enjoy our sunny, peaceful garden. The Old Barn is attached to the main house so we are always available to answer any questions and help with suggestions of things to do in the area if needed. We are happy to suggest walks and to provide a marked route on a map if you would like to further explore the beautiful countryside. Carlton is a beautiful rural village in the heart of the countryside. Bedford 7 miles, Milton Keynes 12 miles, Northampton 13 miles, Cambridge 30 miles and Oxford 40 miles. London is a 38 minutes direct train journey from Bedford. Easily accessible to Cranfield University, Santa Pod Raceway, Xscape-Snozone, Bodyflight-Indoor skydiving and Bletchley Park. A private car is ideal as the local bus service is fairly limited. Breakfast essentials including a loaf of homemade bread, preserves, cereals, tea and freshly ground coffee and milk are provided for guests to prepare breakfast for themselves.
