A cosy miners cottage in the heart of St. Just

Swallows Nest is cosy granite miners cottage is set in the heart of St Just, a wonderful little town set on the edge of the Atlantic surrounded by some of the most breathtaking coastline in Cornwall. It's dog friendly (no cats) and perfect for couples or small families. This lovely little cottage is simply decorated with a wonderful woodburner in the sitting room and stable doors from the kitchen out to a private patio garden. Swallows Nest is a comfortable, traditional cottage and a great base for exploring this wonderful area. There is a small pull out table with two chairs in the kitchen for dining and the bright sitting room has a sofa, armchair, wood burner and TV. There is good Wi-Fi and heating is via an economy seven electric radiators, the wood burner plus a couple of independent electric heaters if you need. Upstairs is the main bedroom with a king-sized bed, plus the single bedroom and a modern shower room with electric shower. The stairs are narrow being an original miners cottage but it all adds to the charm. The cottage is entirely private and yours to enjoy on holiday I live in St Just so am around if you need anything or tips on where to go and what to do locally. St Just is a friendly town that feels lost in time with an array of great local shops and cafes, a deli, a butcher, four pubs and a small local supermarket for your everyday needs. Surrounding the town are the most spectacular stretches of coastline and fantastic walks from the doorstep. Sennen with its glorious surfing beach is ten minutes away as is Potheras, a hidden and stunning locals cove. Travelling further east within twenty minutes you can be in Marazion with its fabulous beach overlooking the famous St Michaels Mount, St Ives, Mousehole and Penzance. Car is best but buses go from the free car park and the open top one is well worth taking in the summer for the great views.
