Surrounded by excellent walking country you’ll find ample lanes, bridleways and paths perfect for cycling and walking. A 10-minute stroll will take you directly to a local pub serving food, and Eldon Hole, one of the seven wonders of the Peak District, is just over a mile away. The large village of Tideswell with ample amenities can be reached in around a 5-minute drive, and the pretty village of Edale, which is also home to the start/end of the long distance Pennine Way footpath, is around a 15-minute drive. The beautiful honeypot village of Castleton can also be reached in around 15 minutes, as can the fascinating plague village of Eyam.
