Welcome to Little Dodges - a spacious & characterful ground floor converted barn in a peaceful rural setting. The accommodation is great for families looking for a self-catering holiday. The cottage is on our land opposite our family home. We can promise you a warm welcome and will be delighted to help throughout your stay if you need anything at all. We live in a peaceful rural location next to an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have views to the North which show the ridgeline of Loose near to Maidstone. A car is a necessity as the only service nearby is an intermittent bus! Marden mainline station into London is 2 miles away. We have ample off road parking. Local attractions - We are 2 miles from Marden mainline station (direct to London in less than an hour) - The lovely Finders Spa is a 5 minute walk / 1 minute drive from the cottage - Historic castles nearby include Leeds, Hever, Bodiam, Penshurst Place, Scotney, Sissinghurst... - Nearby gardens including Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Pashley Manor, Hole Park, - 10 minutes away we have Bedgebury Pinetum, great for walking or cycling as a family through the forest as is Bewl Water our local reservoir. - 20 minutes by car to the elegant town of Tenterden - 20 mins by car to the spa town of Tunbridge Wells with its famous Pantiles - 90 minutes by car to Cathedral town of Canterbury. - Near to Batemans (Rudyard Kipling's house) at Burwash - Close to Rye with its ancient cobbled streets and the famous haunted Mermaid Inn - Near to Camber Sands, a wonderful beach for walking
