Authentic Kea island house

Authentic kea house is located on a cliff with a beautiful view, quite remote but also close to places and combines a rural life with comfortable modern elements. The house is close to the stores, restaurants and beaches and provides the perfect spot for authentic Greek vacation! It has one big main room with two double beds and two single comfortable sofa beds in a second area that locks from the other. There is a big spacious veranda for relaxation and view of the sunset. The house has one roomy kitchen with a dining room and two single couches designed to function as two very comfortable beds. A second very large room has two double beds, one normal double and one a little bit narrower. Overall is a family house or for people who like to be altogether. There is one bathroom and a very large veranda where most hours are spend sunbathing or watching the view. The house is a stone house,built following the traditional architecture of the island. The decoration follows main island elements and adds to the atmosphere. The house has three separate apartments, each independent from another . The guest is free to navigate to all outside area, park inside the property and use facilities that belong to the house. We usually welcome our guests,give them their set of keys and show the house. We are available to the visitors, always happy to meet and get to know people that visit us and that is what we believe Airbnb is all about, get to know people from all around and for them to get to know our culture. We will do our best to help our guests when they need to,but also give them the space they require. There are cases we can’t be there and then we guide our guests via telephone The house is located very close by car to all the bars,shops,restaurants and supermarkets. One preferably needs a car to move around.While it is only a few minutes distance from the center, its high position, offers a lot of peace and quiet. The closest beach with a nice restaurant Otzias is 3 minutes away by car and 15 by foot. We advise visitors to rent a car or other vehicle when on the island, because it will offer them a fuller experience and make it easier to move around. You can park outside the house there is a lot of space.Also, taxis and buses are available on the island but a car is more recommended. Some roads are difficult so a car may be more comfortable than other vehicles Visitors should know that this island is amazing, the beaches are beautiful, the feeling of the house is very relaxing and they will have a wonderful time:) The island, besides the beautiful sea and views, offers hiking trails mapped for visitors to follow.Many end up in archaeological sites, there is a lot of Ancient Greek history in the island and the remains of an Ancient Greek city Karthea. Also,there is a diving center to explore the undersea world and old shipwreck Brittanic, brother ship of the Titanic.In Koundouros one can enjoy sea sport activities.
