Sandy beaches of Baltic sea: ~14 km Riga city: 23 km River of Gauja is 500m far (close) Canoe rental, ATV safari rides, bicycle rental and paddle boat rental is available near (300m from the house). House has it's own backyard with basketball court, bonfire area and pond. Hot-tub and sauna available for extra charge. Guests have a free access to shared kitchen and recreation room, as well as area of activities: football field, volleyball field, children playground etc. Hosts live near (50 m from the house) - always easily reachable. Also reachable via phone. True latvian countryside: quiet, calm, beautiful. The "Natura 2000" nature protected area is very near (10 minutes walking). Perfect environs for cycling, hiking. River of Gauja - the longest river of Latvia is 400 metres far (close). Canoe tours available. Very good berry- and mushroom picking places all around. Suggestions: try an off-road safari tour on ATV's or take a canoe trip. The closest bus stop is 7km (Kadaga village).
