Savannah is your holiday destination! Savannah is a thatch home, all ground level except for one loft bedroom upstairs with private sundeck offering the most spectacular ocean views! This holiday home comprises 4x bedrooms, all on ground level and the 5th bedroom is a loft room with a unique, bespoke hammock, perfect for lazy lounging and sundeck, offering forever ocean views. Savannah offers a space for everyone to be private, with private, wooden deck veranda's at the bedrooms and a wonderful open plan lounge, offering an awesome panoramic ocean view, very modern, high tech kitchen & open plan dining room, also offering awe-inspiring panoramic ocean views! The open plan dining area opens up to a wooden decked verandah equipped with outdoor lounge furniture, charcoal barbecue & outdoor shower. A modern space, with industrial interior touches fused with the warmth of Cape reed thatch and low maintenance polished concrete flooring fused with stainless steel, satin polished kitchen, equipped with integrated, under-counter appliances. A high tech convection/microwave oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan, two fridges, one freezer, two free standing butcher block preparation islands all cladded in beechwood tops makes for easy and effortless food preparation. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, quality wine, champagne & water glasses. Set in the heart of the home is a very unique, bespoke cantilever fireplace warming up the entire open plan entertainment area as well as serving the purpose of a very social indoor braai. Large glass sliding doors in all the spaces offer incredible ocean views, unique sunrises...watch the sun rise over the ocean every morning, a spectacular scene! The master bedroom boasts large glass sliding doors opening up to a lovely private verandah and the unique triangular glass windows allows for star studded romantic evenings...the full moon rising over the ocean, a most spectacular sight to behold! The master bedroom is equipped with a sunken bath, shower with a natural shell "curtain", organic shapes & copper touches contrasts beautifully with this modern, industrial, albeit beachy interior. The open plan entertainment spaces, invite for easy conversation and quality family time together, seating space for everyone, with the soft pink & charcoal grey couches & sofas in the lounge with a spacious fireplace, adding to a warm and cosy atmosphere. Three ground floor bedrooms offer Scandinavian design kingsize beds, European quality winter & summer duvets, white linen and white towels. The fourth ground floor bedroom boasts two single beds, with a spiral staircase leading to the loft bedroom (5th bedroom) offering another two single beds. This loft bedroom with its lovely, tranquil & serene energy boasts a bespoke hammock and glass door leading to a sundeck. Three bedrooms share a separate shower room with toilet, basin+vanity, the 4th bedroom boasts an en-suite shower room, also with toilet, basin+vanity & the master bedroom offers a sunken bath with separate shower, toilet & basin+vanity. Savannah offers a double garage with automated door and elegant paved entrance to the garage and parking for two more vehicles on the premises. St Helena Bay where the sun rises over the sea.... a great motivation to come and reside at Savannah, offering spectacular views toward the ocean, thus and ideal address for whale, dolphin & bird watching! Annually, between June & November, Southern Right & Humpback whales migrate giving us a glimpse of their calves as they glide past the villa...this awe-inspiring sight always takes my breath away! The magnificent flower season... an annual affair during August & September when the flowers bloom everywhere, an explosion of colour & many places in & around St Helena Bay to view the abundant fields of flowers! Catch a glimpse of the snoek (fish) boats going out to sea in the early hours of the morning & returning later in the day with snoek, the "Snoek Season" being a very exciting time of the year with snoek found only off the african coast. St Helena Bay is quite centrally located & one of the many little fishing villages of the West Coast. By car very easy to explore the different villages around the area in & around St Helena Bay, riddled with many lovely beaches to discover, some very popular & visited by families & others well hidden, serene little spots. A car is needed to travel in and around St Helena Bay and the West Coast villages. Savannah is situated in a gated estate through one set of entry & exit gates, with security patrol & equipped with a security alarm system.
