A stunning room with lots of natural light, this is a lovely hideaway tucked up close to the centre of the village, in easy walking distance of the castle, bistro and pub. Surrounded by the most beautiful countryside, public footpaths abound in the area. The room has been completely refurbished to a high standard with you very much in mind. An ensuite wet room completes this beautiful space. COVID-19 - the room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected for your safe stay. Please come and go as you please. We are happy to provide pots of tea and in the process of adding a Nespresso machine within the room (suggest you bring your favourite pods if you are a coffee expert!). The room is maintained to a high standard and kept impeccably clean. We are generally round and about as one of us is usually working from home. We will be flexible, if you want us to natter and provide information on the area, more than happy to do so, if you want us to melt into the background, we completely understand! The village is blessed with a fantastic bistro plus a friendly pub. Lots of people visit this immediate area due to the castle being an incredible wedding venue (including our own). Port Lympne Zoo is 5 minutes drive; is a fabulous place to visit plus another favourite for weddings. We are extremely accessible to the Eurotunnel (one junction away) so if you have an early morning train, we are very conveniently placed. At the base of Lympne Hill is The Hatch, selling craft beers including local Hop Fuzz Brewery. Very popular on a summer's evening and a lovely 15 minute stroll away. A car is preferable, as we are in a village, however we do have a bus stop about 100m from us that can take you to Hythe, Folkestone and Ashford. We have some beautiful public paths close by that run along the ridge of the Downs, overlooking and running through the zoo. At the bottom of Lympne Hill is the Military Canal, built during the Napoleonic War which provides a gentle walk into Hythe, or across the marshes in the other direction.
