Fully equipped, 2 bedroom terrace cottage, sleeping up to five guests. On the first floor is a double and a single bedroom and small bathroom with a shower over the bath. Comfortable lounge with sofa and armchair television and wifi. Large dining kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, table, chairs and fridge freezer. South facing garden Home from home stone cottage set on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The living room comprises of a sofa and armchair, is fully carpeted and has a television and radio. The original feature fireplace houses an electric stove which makes the room feel cosy. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob and extractor, full size dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, fridge/freezer and new combi boiler. The main bedroom is at the front on the first floor and has a double bed, chest of drawers, full length mirror and a large built in wardrobe. Also on the first floor is a smaller room with a single bed, drawers and another built in wardrobe. Off street parking available for one vehicle at the front of the property. A sunny south facing enclosed garden with bistro table, chairs and pot plants is to the rear. There is an outside storage building at the bottom of the garden which was the original outdoor loo. Once the key has been handed over guests will have total privacy and the cottage completely to themselves. Jill will always be contactable and any emergencies dealt with straight away. Millhouse Green is a village located on the north eastern edge of the Peak District National Park, a beautiful area for walking and cycling. The house itself is only a few minutes’ walk from the Trans Pennine Trail. The village has it's own traditional style pub, village shop and post office. Our location is ideal for both holidays and long-term stays. The cottage is in a residential area so late night parties and loud groups will not be allowed. The house itself is only a few minutes’ walk from the Trans Pennine Trail and the Royd Moor viewing platform which offers spectacular views of the local countryside – on a clear day York Minster can be seen in the distance. A local bus service runs regularly to nearby Penistone and Holmfirth. There is a train station in Penistone which is about two miles away and operates into Huddersfield, Sheffield and beyond. We’re approximately one hours drive to Manchester and within easy reach of the main roads and motorways to major Yorkshire towns and cities such as Barnsley, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford and York. There is a local bus service and train station at nearby Penistone which runs directly into Sheffield & Huddersfield for mainline connections. The cottage is situated on a main road so some noise from the passing traffic is to be expected.
