Sleep on the boat near The Hague and beach

Slapen op de boot (sleep on the boat) is located in the Westland near the city The hague. The boat is a 14 meter long flat bottom which provides up to 4 people. (We recommend 2 adults and 2 children, but of course you are also welcome with 4 adult.) The boat has a small kitchenette and private bathroom and terrace on the waterside so you have a little cottage on the water where you can feel free to stay for several nights. When you leave the busy main road and drive up the lane between the greenhouses, you directly entering another world. Halfway through the lane there is parking place for two cars. The last 150 meters has to be made on foot or by bike between the greenhouses to the water. Arriving at the water nothing reminds you from the busy road you have just left. Along the waterfront behind our greenhouse you will find the boat with a private terrace and sanitary facilities on the waterfront. Here you have your own place that you have to share with anyone! The boat is a 14 meter long cozy flat bottom which is divided into a living area with kitchenette and two sleeping areas. The living space includes a sitting area with table and a small kitchenette containing hot and cold water, Nespresso coffee maker, small fridge and small cooker. In bedroom 1 is a cozy double bed (1,30). The bed is shorter (1,85) than the standard length of a bed, this is something to keep in mind for people who are taller than average. Also here is a small wardrobe, toilet, fire extinguisher and storage space under the bed. Bedroom 2 is behind bedroom 1. This room is a bunk, the upper bed is shorter (1,87) than usual and therefore most suitable for children. Also in this room a cabinet and the door to the small front deck. At the back deck there is a sitting area from where you can enjoy the environment, the passing boats and the many water birds. From the deck you step on to the terrace at the waterfront. The terrace has a dining table with four chairs and an umbrella. Next to the terrace is a small lawn from where the children can take a dip in the water, catch fish or just play in the grass. The boat includes a two-person canoe you can use during your stay. On the water in the area you will find signs indicating canoe routes. Next to the terrace there is a small garden house with a shower and toilet. On the boat and on the terrace you can enjoy free Wi-Fi. The boat, the terrace and the sanitary facilities are entirely for personal use and may not be shared. at Slapen op de Boot you have your own place to really relax and enjoy complete privacy. Since the accommodation is a boat, we want to notice that the boat is compact (as well as the height of the boat, 193 cm from the living area descending to 170 cm in bedroom 2. We therefore recommend that the maximum capacity to hold two adults and two children but of course you are also welcome with 4 adult. The location of slapen op de boot is ideal: Close to highway and public transport, in a lively summers fairway and cycling distance of dunes, beach and the cities of The Hague and Delft. The boat is also the ideal base for excursions in the Westland, a day of culture or shopping in surrounding towns or have a walk on the beach but also for making cycling trips along the coast, through the Westland and Midden-Delfland. At Slapen op de boot you will stay in a quiet spot along the water just a short distance from town and beach! 1500 meters to closest busstop Because you have a short walk from the parking lot via a narrow path between the greenhouses to reach the boat, and it is only possible to get in and out of the boat via small stairs, the boat is not suitable for people in wheelchairs or people who have difficulty walking. On the boat there is a smoke, gas and CO detector. The boat is smoke and pet free.
