Cirencester- detached annexe with private terrace
Pippa's Cottage is our self contained detached annexe located in our garden, just over a mile from the centre of the pretty market town of Cirencester and close to country walks and pubs, with private roof terrace to relax on. Off road parking is available. The living space consists of an open plan kitchen with a shower room and toilet, a breakfast bar dining or working area and sitting room. A spiral staircase leads up to the first floor, which has an open plan bedroom with a king-sized bed and additional single bed. The self catering annexe sits in the owners garden and guests are more than welcome to share the use of the enclosed garden. We have also created a roof terrace exclusively for our guests, for alfresco living. Being between Swindon, Gloucester and Cheltenham, the Annexe is perfect for business or a relaxing Cotswold break. Cirencester's historic market place is within 20 minutes walk and the beauty of the countryside is on the doorstep, with country walks and local pubs close to hand. Guests are very welcome to enjoy the shared enclosed garden, in addition to the annex accommodation and private roof terrace. We live next to the annexe in our home. We normally love to welcome guests on arrival, but if we are not able to, we will give clear instructions on the key location. We are always very happy to chat and help with ideas for eating, places to visit, things to do etc. The bustling market town of Cirencester is the perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds. The second largest city in Roman Britain and famed for its wool market in Tudor times, Cirencester is still thriving today. There are a wealth of independant shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is a market on Mondays and Fridays and a farmers market on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 9am until 1pm. There is also an antiques market every Friday in the Corn Hall. Town attractions include: Outdoor Pool (open from May until Late September) - bring your swimming costumes! The Corinium Museum, Cirencester Park, The Abbey Grounds, The Brewery Arts Centre, The Newly Restored Parish Church, Cirencester Park Polo to name a few! Some of our favourite places to eat in Cirencester include: Made by Bob, Soushi, Hares, Somewhere Else, The Kings Head Hotel, Toro Lounge, Jacks, Cote Brasserie, Keith's coffee shop, Jesse's Bistro, Pizza Express.
