Chalet 147, Broadside Chalet Park, Stalham

Located on the impeccably maintained Broadside Chalet Park in the small town of Stalham, the chalet is a great base for the Norfolk broads where boat hire is available and is also super close to a number of beautiful beaches. The blue flag beaches of Sea Palling & Mundesley are just a short drive away as well as Horsey beach for seal spotting. The chalet has just undergone a complete renovation including new floors, new appliances, a new state of the art heating system & comfy new mattresses. Tastefully decorated and completely renovated in December 2020, our detached chalet has a warm, home from home feel with hints of the seaside to remind you how close you are to the stunning Norfolk coast and its many blue flag renowned beaches. With modern appliances and everything you could need for a comfortable stay on the North Norfolk coast. We have aimed to dispel the myth of cold, draughty chalets with our brand new thermostat controlled heating system which guarantees a warm, cosy environment in every room. Fresh cotton towels and bedding are included in your stay, unlike other chalets, we couldn’t think of anything worse than turning up on your 1st day of holiday and having to make the beds! You will also find a 40 inch widescreen T.V with Freeview along with a huge selection of DVD`S in case of rainy days or chilled nights in. The kitchen is equipped with a fan assisted oven, halogen hob, fridge with mini freezer, 4 slice toaster (no one likes a 2 slice!), kettle, microwave and an array of pots, pans and cooking utensils. Of course there is also plenty of crockery! We also provide a Travel Cot, Bed Guard and High Chair if required. Please note, we do allow 1 well behaved dog. With this in mind this property may not be suitable if you have pet allergies. The chalet overlooks a large green where children can play safely. Children can also roam freely in the play area within view of the clubhouse. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool which opens from May to mid-September, also a toddler pool and play area, all overlooked by the friendly clubhouse where you can also grab drinks and bar snacks and also offers quiz nights, bingo and live entertainment. Simply put, just bring yourself, your suitcase, a mini food shop (Tesco is just round the corner if required) and some £1 coins for the electric meter and enjoy your stay! Yes the meter is a bit old school, but all of the chalets on this park operate the same system! There is a Clubhouse on the Chalet Park serving food and drink. It has an outdoor play area and outdoor pool. If there is anything you need, we live only a couple of villages away and will be contactable. Please note that the electric in the chalet is coin operated. The meter takes £1 coins only and it is your responsibility to have enough for the duration of your stay. There will always be £5 in credit when you arrive. Please make sure there is at least £5 remaining when you leave.
