This cosy cottage is situated in Windlesham, a pretty village in the Surrey Heath borough of Surrey. Situated between Chobham Common and Swinley Forest, it is on the doorstep to some fantastic country walking and cycling routes; not to mention the famous golf courses in the area. Ideal location to visit Legoland, Thorpe Park, Ascot racing and Windsor castle. Heathrow Airport is only 15 miles away. Windlesham is known for the Boxing Day pram race and also a location to amazing gastro pubs. This cosy cottage has been recently renovated with brand new amenities, open plan kitchen and living area with a comfortable double day bed. The master bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower. The Stables is located in the beautiful country side with many footpaths on the doorstep. Overall it has a a very cosy and secluded feel. We live on site and happy to recommend places to visit and restaurants, please feel free to contact us should you need anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The Stables cottage in located in Cedars Lodge farm, we often have horses in our fields. The Cottage is only 2 minutes walk to our local gastro pub and the village church is right next door. The village offers tennis courts, cricket club and a theatre. Windlesham is known to locals as home of the Boxing Day pram race. The Stables is an ideal location to visit Legoland, Thorpe Park, Ascot racing and Windsor castle as well as Savill Garden all within 15 minutes driving distance. Heathrow Airport is only 15 miles away. The nearest train station is Sunningdale, only 3 miles from us and there is a direct train to London every 20 minutes on pick hours (45 minutes journey). No pets allowed No dining room with table and chairs, however there is a coffee table with lap trays.
