BEACH DIRECT ACCESS FROM GARDEN+LARGE SWIMMINGPOOL

Large family beach cottage ,large swimming pool and garden. Perfect vacation home with direct access to miles of beautiful beach, blue waters and view dolphins from a large deck . Relax and enjoy the beauty on north coast only 40km from airport. 15 Minutes to Ballito where there are lots of restaurants/Flag Farm Animal Farm, Reptile Farm, Litchi Orchard and shops and Grannys Pool on the beach for the children to swim and paddle. There is the main house and outside cottage This large beach facing house will satisfy most peoples needs ,with a large gardens , pool and miles of beach at your door step , spend days relaxing in the sun in the warmest place to be in south Africa PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT TAKE ON MORE THAN 8 ADULTS AND 5 CHILDREN AT A TIME. THE COTTAGE CANNOT COPE WITH MORE THAN 8 ADULTS. With secured open parking available for 5 cars and a beach gate to access the beach . All doors to the house have sufficient locking systems . Lungile the live in property carer will be there to welcome you and make your stay easier. When you arrive she will be there to open the gates for you.It will be appreciated if you could give me you eta so she knows to be on the lookout. she will be in charge of keeping the cottage clean and making the beds. She is also a handy chef and if you want her to make any meals for you she will be happy to do so but please make sure that at the end of your stay you pay her a price you can negotiate with her for every meal she has cooked. You can pay her in cash at the end of your stay. In addition if you want Lungile to do any cleaning up i.e. washing dishes/washing clothes etc you can negotiate a fee with her and pay her in cash at the end of your stay. If there are more than 8 people staying in the cottage then we get in an extra person to help keep the cottage clean and tidy and make the beds. There will be an extra charge of an amount of R150 per day for this extra help and please can you pay her at the end of your stay in cash. Please note that this cottage is meant to be a relaxing family/friends getaway. We don't mind if you have family functions like 60th or 80th birthday parties but we do not want bulls parties, bachelor parties or similar on the property. Please let me know if you are going to be having day visitors and how many. Please let Lungile know if you do not want her coming in during the day to make beds and generally clean. If you prefer her not to come into the house please let her know as she lives on the property just to keep a general watchover. whenever we have guests we arrange a night guard to oversee the property just for peace of mind/security and also have an alarm system inside the house. Enjoy your relaxing stay and do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance Blythedale is a lovely seaside village situated between the Nonoti and Umvoti rivers. There are locals as well as holiday homes. There is a wonderful wedding venue called Palm Dunes where weddings are held on the beach. There is a central beach area and there are lifegaurds on weekends only. You can walk for miles along the beach and if you walk south its about 4 kms to the river mouth You will often spot dolphins from the deck and the odd whale. Never swim alone in the sea in front of the cottage as there is a strong backwash. At low tide there are lovely rockpools to play in. My sons are strong swimmers and often surf in front of the cottage when there is not such a strong riptide. I would recommend that if you are not that good a swimmer you stick to swimming in front of the lifegaurds who are on duty on the weekends. the swimming beach is about 100 metres to the left of the cottage. There is Grumpys Beach BAr open on weekends only. Its 5 minutes drive from the cottage and is situated on the edge of the forest and beach in Blythedale Its A beach bar where you can also get the most amazing prawn curry and other food and where are are almost on the beach. There is a play area there for kids as well. There is also the Ballito Cable and Ski Park about 20 minutes away in Ballito which is fun for the whole family. Also Ballito dolphin viewing and the Flag Farm Animal Farm in SAlt rock. There are so many things to do in the area. There is microlighting, golf courses, Litchi Orchard, shopping malls all within a 15-20 minute radius of the cottage. You will need a car whether you hire one at the airport or have your own transport. Please note that we cannot cater for more than maximum 8 adults at a time in the cottage .The cottage is a perfect for two or three families . however the dynamics could be different so please can you advise how many adults and how many children when making the booking. The cottage is pet friendly but please can you let me know if you are bringing pets and also note that the property is 80 percent enclosed as there are gaps in the fence and at the bottom of the garden is bush which the animals could find gaps through. However if your pets are well trained and stick with you then there should be no problem of them wandering. The beach is amazing for them to run along . we have tiles on the floors but would appreciate you not allowing the animals on the beds or furniture. Also please do not expect Kosi to look after the animals - they will be your responsibility. Make sure that your valuables are locked away and do not leave cameras, computers or cell phones lying around on tables . This is something that we advise everyone. The house has an alarm system which can be set at night. We have security guards patrolling the streets at regular intervals , Kosi lives on the premises and has access to the security company. The front gate and gate to the beach are locked at night and the house and cottage can be locked and secured. Ballito Lifestyle centre is 15 minutes drive away and there is also the Litchi Orchard and Other Centres and restaurants. There is also the flag farm animal farm which is 10 minutes away and Tiffanys shopping centre 10 minutes away. There is a reptile farm and also microlighting from Ballito. You can go into Stanger which is 5 minutes away but the shops are not nearly as nice as the shops in Ballito. Please bring your own beach and bath towells If you live in Kwa Zulu Natal (we do supply towels to Overseas visitors and those that come from outside of Kwa Zulu Natal). There is a webber which you are welcome to use but you will have to bring your own briquettes. There is a tv but can be a bit unpredictable because of the salt air but we do try and make sure it is working. But with the beautiful beach, pool, sea, sand and sun Im sure you will hardly even be inside watching t.v. There is limited wifi. There is a router which you can use but I recommend you bring your own especially if you want to do some business.
