Captivated by the picturesque town of Galaxidi, its nautical tradition and exceptional architecture, the owners bought this historic building of 1886 and transformed it from a merchant’s house into a modern hospitable home. The architectural idea of an open plan structure dominates the style of this impressive home in which you can enjoy: - A large living room, occupying one floor; - A traditional stone fireplace corner, with its surrounding sitting area ; - A dining area in the cellar to enjoy your breakfast, lunch & dinner; - During summer months you can enjoy your coffee and newspaper reading under the mulberry tree; - A king size double bed in the open attic; - An old fashioned iron double bed on the main floor; - A sofa-bed that can be turned into a double bed; - Two single sofa beds by the fireplace; - Fully equipped kitchen with amenities (coffee maker, espresso machine, kettle, squeezer, etc) - Flat screen TV, DVD, video player and a selection of DVDs for you to choose from; - Radio, cd player and some cds to choose from; - Spacious marine decorated bathroom with the necessary supplies; - Powerful air-conditioning units on the main floor & the attic; - Linens and towels are home washed and ironed; We are always available for questions you may have for the house as well as giving you some useful tips for your stay in Galaxidi. The house is located one street (Odyssea Androutsou) behind the main picturesque port of Galaxidi and very close to the heart of the village at a really nice and quiet neighbourhood. Local stores, coffee places and restaurants are just a few minutes walk. Beaches of the surrounding areas are at a nice walkable distance. The Nautical Museum of Galaxidi and other places of interest are literally a block further away.
