A beautiful converted cottage in our modern rustic style, nestled in the countryside with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The cottage is in West Norfolk, rurally located but only 15 minutes from the nearest town, and just off the A47. Enjoy spectacular unspoilt scenery in peace and tranquility. The perfect spot for a blissful spa break, you'll enjoy complimentary access to the spa, pool and gym at Energise Pentney, our member's health club, less than a minute's walk from your cottage. Sleeping up to six people, The Cart Lodge has three cosy and relaxing bedrooms, a rustic living space with exposed beams, and a fully equipped kitchen, set across one level. Fire up the traditional wood burner and gather in the beautiful living area. You’ll find a complete sense of calm at the Cart Lodge, and you’re just a stones throw from our tranquil on-site health club. A large, comfy sofa with soft blankets will keep you snug and of course, there’s central heating too. There’s a Smart TV in the living room, as well as in each bedroom, where you can access our complimentary Netflix account, or log in yourself. The Cart Lodge’s bathrooms include clean fluffy towels for your complimentary use. Outdoor seating in your enclosed private patio overlooks our fields, giving you space to enjoy a morning coffee in the sunshine. Fire up the BBQ in the warmer months and enjoy supper al-fresco, and watch the sun set on a perfect day. Well behaved dogs welcome. Our guests have access to our fields right outside the cottages. Adults (18+) also receive complimentary access to Energise Pentney Health Club, our Members only on-site gym, spa, swimming pool and Outdoor Heated Vitality Pool (‘jacuzzi’ - see photos) and relaxing Treatment Rooms, just a one minute walk away, giving you an opportunity to completely switch off. Access is shared and subject to open hours + conditions of use. The Outdoor Pool is open year round. Under 18's have access to the indoor swimming pool only, within scheduled hours and with adult supervision. Open hours and further conditions apply. Dogs are not allowed in the vicinity of the Outdoor Heated Vitality Pool. Glass and drinks other than water are not allowed in or around either Pool. Contactless check in is provided, and we'll be available should you need anything. Pentney is a rural village and we provide walking maps so you can enjoy the beautiful countryside surrounding you. We're within easy driving distance of many of West Norfolk's best attractions, including the Royal Estate of Sandringham, Hunstanton and a host of National Trust properties. We're approximately 15 minutes from Swaffham, and 20 minutes from King's Lynn. A car is needed, and taxi's will need to be pre-booked. We're only a short drive from the A47 which provides excellent links by car to the rest of Norfolk. Free parking is available just outside your cottage. Car required - we're just off the A47 but there are no shops or pubs within walking distance. Adults (18+) receive complimentary access to Energise Pentney. These facilities are public and shared by Members and other guests. Specific family swim hours for the indoor swimming pool are available every day. Access is only within specified open hours; further terms of use apply.
