Spacious Double Room in Godalming

I am lucky to live in a lovely Edwardian cottage in a quiet location 5 minutes from Farncombe Station, a really good supermarket and a great local pub. I am also very close to a good Chinses takeaway and a fish and chip shop. It is a 12 minute walk in to Godalming Town Centre. I have a lovely big garden and many of my guests enjoy sitting in the garden in the summer. My house is technically Hosted by Cookie, my very affectionate, friendly little cat! I love my new house. It has so much character but the décor is a little bit tired. The price for the room reflects this. I will in due course have the décor refreshed. I will generally be around although I work fairly long hours and I am out and about a lot but I will be around to give you advice and to chat. Farncombe is a village that is an extension of the beautiful market town of Godalming. I am 5 minutes walk to Farncombe railway station where trains take 42 minutes to get in to Waterloo. I am very close to a really good Chinese takeaway, a Co-Op supermarket, a good Indian restaurant and a good pub. It is a 15 minute walk in to Godalming where there are some lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. Farncombe is in the middle of the Surrey Hills which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. I feel so lucky to live in such a glorious location. At the bottom of my street you can get on to the lovely canal walk along the River Wey. I am 2 miles from Guildford which is rated as having one of the best "high end" shopping streets in the country. Farncombe and Godalming have so many things going on. There is often music, art, food, theatre events going on. I am 5 minutes from Farncombe station with trains to London Waterloo and Guildford every 30minutes. It takes about 42 minutes to get in to London. I do offer breakfast but this is help your self to tea, coffee, cereal and toast.
