Private house with sea view

Welcome to our house with large terrace in south and sea view. The house of about 65 sqm is located on Tynningö, an island near Stockholm. The house has 4 beds: a bedroom with double bed and a bedroom with bunk bed. There is a house in garden with 2 beds. Fully equipped kitchen in the main house with dining area for 6 people and a small bathroom with toilet, basin and shower. Livingroom with fireplace and sea view. Terrace with a table for 6 people, and a barbecue. Big garden. Parking place. It is possible to park two cars in the garden. Guests can use our bikes our canoe and lifejackets. We have also outdoor games, boule and crocket. In the kitchen there is oil, salt and pepper left and some basic food such as pasta with tomatoesauce for our guests if you need the first day before your shopping. Two smaller sheds in the garden, one serves as a storage for our bikes, lifejackets and outdoor games. The other shed is equipped with an extra bed. The house is not isolated and needs renovation. The seaside garden has a small house with bunk bed and convertible sofa. We will leave the guests alone in the house. We do not live far from this house, and in case of problem, the guests can call us. Tynningö island is characterized by beautiful nature, cycling and walking-friendly roads and nice hiking trails. There are nice excursion destinations such as Tynningö Klack which is the highest location on the island with a wide view of the archipelago. In the lake Myrholmsmaren there is a beach, appreciated during warm summer days. There is an outside gym at Bygdegården, about 2 km from the house. It is also posasible to pay and book a nwely renovated tennis court, about 3 km from the house. You can reach Tynningö island from Stockholm in different ways. Without car: 1 - By bus from Tekniska Högskolan in Stockholm to Vaxholm about 45 minutes and then boat from Vaxholm to Tynningö, 10 minutes. You will find the timetable for the boat if you search "waxholmsbolaget" on the internet. There is a small local bus on the island and the timetable for the bus fits the timetable for the boat of Waxholmsbolaget. Since the island belongs to the municipality of Vaxholm it is several boats every day going between Vaxholm to Tynningö, in winter too. To get the timetable for the bus from Tekniska Högskolan in Stockholm to Vaxholm, search sl.se, and you will find the bus 670 with several busses per day. 2 - Waxholmsbolaget (pedestrian boat) from Strömkajen in Stockholm to Höganäs in Tynningö, the boat takes about 1 hour. You will find the timetable for the boat if you search "waxholmsbolaget" on the internet. There is a small local bus on the island and the timetable for the bus fits the timetable for the boat of Waxholmsbolaget. You can also walk from Höganäs in Tynningö to the house along the main road, about 2,2 km (or 30 minutes). In winter, until 12 of April, it still the winter-timetable and only a few boats per day between Stockholm and Tynningö. In summer there is several boats per day. 3 - By bus from Slussen in Stockholm to Norra Lagnö, about 50 min, change bus in Gustavsberg. Then take a car-ferry between Norra Lagnö and Tynningö. Please notice that the local bus on Tynningö does not fit the timetable to the car-ferry, you might need to walk to the house from the car-ferry along the main road, about 3,6 km (or 45 minutes). By car: 4- By car from Stockholm to Norra Lagnö, about 20 minutes. Then take a car-ferry between Norra Lagnö and Tynningö. The car-ferry is free and drive 2-3 times per hour, except during the night. If you search "Tidtabell Tynningöleden" on the internet you will find the timetable for the car-ferry. This is the most flexible way to go between Tynningö and Stockholm in winter. Please notice that there are only 4 beds in the mainhouse and 2 beds in an extra house in garden near waterfront. No bathroom, WC or kitchen in the small house, only in the main house. Please notice there are no towels or sheets, you have to bring it with you. A fire distinguisher has been placed in the entrance. A fire alarm/smoke alarm has been installed in the ceiling in kitchen. Nearest doctor, pharmacy and food store is in Gustavsberg (by car) or Vaxholm (by boat). Water is from our own well. We do regular test of water quality and the water is drinkable. If you feel unsure, or if you have small children, we recommend you to buy bottle water.
