West of the 'Bergherbos/Montferland forest on the edge of the village Beek, guesthouse/B&B 'De Waanhoeve' welcomes outdoor and animal lovers in a charming, light, bright, spacious 2 persons holiday apartment with private terrace, parking and with all the modern comforts. No other guests. Privacy guaranteed and respected! Cozy, charming, light, bright spacious 55m2 holiday first floor guesthouse with a private entrance and terrace on the ground floor. Flatscreen tv, dishwasher, box spring beds 2.10 m etc. all the modern comforts and with an artistic touch of 'the Waan' art studio decorations. Parking of bicycles and car on private premises. Lovely area for walking, cycling, enjoying the outdoors. 1 mile to the German border. Great Rhine river promenades near by. The guesthouse is fully self cathering, but breakfasts are optional and a selection of restaurants is nearby. Dogs are welcome.... But please contact us beforehand for proper arrangements since we own dogs too.. Guests have their own private entrance, a private, not overlooked terrace and have access to a locked shed for bicycle parking. Car parking also private and on our own premises. ' De Waanhoeve' is located on the end of a dead end road. No traffic, no neighbors, great country views. We respect and guarantee your privacy fully, but aim to assist you in every way possible at your request , because YOU are our guests! We speak Dutch, English, German and a little French. Tourist all information, DVDs , books, magazines and games are provided. Free wifi. The Bergherbos/Montferland forest is beautiful, 12 months a year. The border (with Germany at 1 km) region around the Rhine river offers fantastic cycling trip potential. Lots of culture, castle, museums, vineyards, cute villages etc etc.... Car parking on private premises. Bicycles in locked shed. Some, but little public transport. Railway station at 7 km. Bicycles can be rented and transported to the premises by a befriended company nearby. We have some lovely pet animals: horses, dogs, chickens, pigeons, cat.... But we take great care that they will not bother you. The village center has a supermarket which is open 7 days a week. We have no neighbors and you are our only guest, so you are special...
