Peak District base in a world heritage site
Cotton House is an extremely comfortable brand-new townhouse over three floors in a historic 18-century mill complex that is now a key Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage site. It's located on the Peak District borders a short distance from the High Peak Trail and Cromford Canal. It's a perfect centre for hiking, cycling and visiting local beauty spots or heritage sites. Florence Nightingale and Alison Uttley (of Little Grey Rabbit fame) are two illustrious former local residents. The house has three comfortable bedrooms, a family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom with loo and washbasin. The house is very comfortably equipped with top of the range beds. There's a large kitchen/dining room, a lounge and an outdoor seating area accessible through French windows from the lounge. One off-road parking space is available next to the house. Otherwise guests can park on the road outside, where parking is unrestricted. Allergy info: We use 10.5 tog "just like feather and down" microfibre duvets Pillows are duck down
