Secluded Cottage / Sea / Wild Forest / Bohuslän

Lovely cottage situated close to the forest, overlooking the sea and islands of the archipelago on the Swedish west coast. 400 meters to the sea where it is lovely to go for walks, 10 min bike ride to the beach and harbour where you can take the local boat to the islands nearby. 15 minutes by car to the historic island Marstrand, 25 minutes by car or train to Swedens second largest city Gothenburg. The cottage is very small and almost open plan, so no doors to close really. There is a bedroom that can be closed off with curtains, a small kitchen and the rest is a living room with a fire place. Bathroom with shower and toilet can be found in the black house in the garden. It is simple living in nature. There is a third small house in the garden, used for storage so this is not accessible for guests. I will avaliable if there is anyhting, just call me. Pretty forest with beautiful view spots. Explore and you will find some really lovely views and spaces. Bring a picnic and stay out for a few hours. Try to find the best spot, from here you can see Carlstens fästning at Marstrand and Bohus fästning in Kungälv. There is a bus to Kungälv nearby. The train to Gothenburg is a few minutes away by car. FIRE PLACE: Logs for the fire place can be found under the small grey house. Feel free to use this. Use the basket from inside. TOILET: The toilet is a composting toilet (separett). No flushing. FIRE PLACE OUTSIDE: Welcome to cook food outside on the fire. You find the fire place towards the pine trees, after the vegetable plot. Use the same logs as for the fire place inside. WI-FI: There is fiber and Wi-Fi. I will give you the password once you’ve checked in. THE GARDEN: Feel free to eat anything you find in the garden, pick any flowers or dig anything you want. If you enjoy gardening you are welcome to dig in with whatever you feel inspired by. THE FOREST: There are lots of mushrooms in the forest, find a basket and pick as many as you can find and enjoy for dinner. Please be respectful towards the nature and leave it as you found it. THE SEA: I can recommend a cold dip in the sea. Either at Rörtången, Lahälla or Råholmen. THE KAYAK: I have a kayak, ask me if you are interested in using it.
