Ashdown Forest is one of England's surviving primeval wonders, and is the largest free public access space in the South East. It is a great place for walking and enjoying spectacular views over the Sussex countryside and is known the world over as the 'home' of Winnie-the-Pooh. The Ashdown Llama Park, the Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park Gardens are just some of the local attractions. Hever Castle is 20mins away. You will need a car unless you are going for a walk! There is also a bus stop at the end of the drive. Buxted, Uckfield and Crowborough train stations are all around 5 miles away. - Please note if bringing small children that there is a swimming pool which is now fenced. - The pool runs on an air source heater, so it is only possible to heat it during the warmer months- late April through to end of September. - No parties or events. - No smoking in the house.
