Off street parking for 1 car and enclosed rear garden make this perfect for a weekend away or a relaxing holiday! Situated in the heart of Pulborough and the South Downs National Park, an Area of Outstanding National Beauty (with beautiful views of the river plain from the top bedroom), there is plenty to see and do. A short walk to the local village provides you with a local convenience store, family friendly traditional English pub, a wine merchants, tea shop and a few more. Closer by are Thai and Indian takeaways, a vineyard with excellent local wines and a nearby micro brewery to give you plenty of opportunities to eat and drink. The area is renowned for excellent walks in the countryside and the South Downs Way is a national treasure. Direct trains from Pulborough to Central London (1 hour) and Gatwick airport (40 mins) also make it easy to travel to and within half an hour are the towns of Chichester and Brighton and the beautiful beaches of the South Coast. The area has a host of local National Trust and visitor attractions. The Town of Amberley, Arundel Castle and Goodwood are very close by and for the adventurous, the South Downs Gliding Club and Westhampnett Water Sports are within 10 and 20 mins drive respectively. There is plenty of space to relax in the Red Lion and you will have access to the whole house, south-facing garden with large decking area furnished with patio furniture and off street parking for one car. We are hands off hosts to allow you the personal space to enjoy your holiday. We will provide you with various ways to contact us should you need any help or advice. We will be happy to recommend places to go, visit, eat and drink. Should you need any help there will be someone available at reasonable notice to visit you. We will also email you the House Manual before you arrive and provide you with a small welcome pack to ease your arrival! Pulborough is a much sought after area in the heart of West Sussex. The house is situated on the end of a small, quiet cul-de-sac and towards the outskirts of the high street. Local shops are accessible in less than a 5 minute walk and two major supermarkets and further shops are a short 5 minute drive away. It is one of the friendliest places in the country! Pulborough train station is a 2 minute drive away and local taxi companies are available. Gatwick airport is 40 mins direct by train or car and direct trains to central London and the South Coast are very regular. We do accept that everyone is a ‘first timer’ at some point, but if this is the case, then please include as much information about yourself in your initial message so we know who you are and why you are staying.
