Buffardello is a one bedroomed apartment created in a traditional working Agritourismo. Relax round the beautiful 12 x 6 metre infinity pool with a fantastic view of the Apuane Mountains and spectacular sunsets. The apartment has a double bed and a sofa bed in the living space, sleeping 4 people in total. The owners offer their guests lots of produce from the farm and guests are invited to take tomatoes from the garden. There are 2 electric mountain bikes available for guests. The house has been restored from a barn. The structure and interior have been designed with a rustic finish. The apartment has a double bedroom with bathroom, a open plan kitchen/ dining and living room where there is also a sofa bed. The kitchen is well equipped. A washing machine is also available. Outside there is a patio with table and loungers. garden boasts panoramic view of the dramatic Apuane Mountains. There is a wood oven and a BBQ in the garden. There is a private dining area outside the kitchen door for al fresco eating. A good children's playground has been created in the garden with a Flying Fox . The fascinating medieval village of Silico is a few metres walk, and there are mapped walks all around the village. Electric mountain bikes are available to guests. The village itself has cultural attractions and events throughout the year. The village is virtually traffic free and safe and interesting for children to explore. A unique holiday can be enjoyed at Colletino. The house and pool have been created with quiet relaxation in mind, but gentle and interesting activities can be witnessed on the farm. The farm still works in the traditional way, with sheep, goats, and horses living on the quiet green pastures nearby. It is a fantastic environment for children, who can also play in the traffic free streets of the old village. You can taste products from the farm (cheese, salamis, ham, chestnut flour, faro, marmalade and other preserves). There is an excellent family run restaurant in Silico, only a one minute walk from the farm. The village itself is interesting; tiny but with fine buildings and wonderful views. A well known medieval festival is held there during August. The area of Garfagnana is best known for its wonderful scenery, authentic ways, rustic food and outdoor activities. There is a private patio outside the kitchen door for al fresco eating. A good childrens' playground has been created in the garden with a Flying Fox . Maid service on request.
