Cloud Nine is a beautiful romantic apartment in the gorgeous coastal village of Port Mulgrave. Standing on one of the most historic and beautiful parts of the Cleveland Way, Cloud Nine dates back to the 1880s. Forming part of a converted barn, the apartment is on the second floor and offers stylish, open plan accommodation. It is full of character and charm, with sloping ceilings and wooden beams. Cloud Nine is ideal for couples looking to explore this beautiful coastline. All of the apartment is solely for guests to use. We are available pretty much 24/7 should guests need us. However, we don't meet guests upon arrival, unless they specifically ask if we can. There is a key minder so that guests can let themselves in. Currently there is no one in the bottom apartment so it is a cosy, romantic stay. There is an abundance of footpaths and cliff walks in the immediate area, and you can walk along the cliff tops and enjoy the stunning scenery en route to the quaint fishing villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and then on to the bustling fishing port of Whitby. You will find plenty to do in Whitby. There is an abundance of attractions to suit all ages, along with an excellent selection of shops and cafés in both the new and old towns. Keep an eye out for the regular themed events and festivals, from the bi-annual Goth Weekender to the wonderful folk week. From Whitby, you can take the steam train and view the dramatic scenery of the North York Moors, as well as the quaint little villages of Grosmont, Goathland (known as Aidensfield in the TV series ‘Heartbeat’) and Levisham, reaching its final destination at Pickering. The cobbled streets of Staithes are a short walk away. Staithes is a fishing village that has found fame with many TV shows being filmed there. Daniel Day Lewis was one of the latest film stars to be filming there. Of course Staithes is also known for its ties to Captain Cook. There are plenty of places to eat there as well as shops and a good old fashioned butcher who is there until lunchtime daily. He doesn't sell just meat but has a multitude of essentials too. You do need a car really but once at Cloud Nine you could park up and walk if you enjoy walks. Some of the walks around the area are truly stunning. There is space for 2 cars to park at Cloud Nine.
