Our house is Saorge, pretty medieval village perched in dry stone purple slate roofs, entirely pedestrian so very quiet (parking at the ends), the Maritime Alps in the valley of the Roya, 10 km of Italy, at 550m altitude in the trees. Access by train possible. (1km from Gare Village) Monastery of Saorge: former Franciscan convent of the 17th who visit (writing residency and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux) and Romanesque church of 11 °. Two grocery stores, three restaurants, a mielerie, artisans, cafes and bookstores / newspapers Saturday market Walks, hiking and swimming in pristine wilderness river. Canyoning The village is located 1/2 hour from the beach (Liguria in Italy: Ventimiglia Bordighera and France Menton 40min / Cap Ferrat), 1 hour from Nice and a half hours the entrance to the Mercantour National Park (Rock Carvings in the Valley of Wonders, walks, horses, ropes course, hiking and summits over 3000m!). Perfect for relaxing and / or backpacking, be with friends, family, to relax / enjoy / meditate quietly !!! -Large terrace 9 m2 larch facing south-east / south with canvas protection for the sun (there is a table for 6 people and two deck chairs) - South balcony -A beautiful double room with 160 bed -Two children's rooms with a single bed. -A living room / kitchen that opens onto the balcony and the large terrace -a mezzanine with bed 140 in the living room / kitchen -A bathroom -Wi-fi, washing machine, linen provided, bed and baby equipment available Pedestrian village so access to the house is a 4-minute walk from the parking. (It's going down !!!) Saorge generally requires good legs! Hope to rent our house! C & P
