Cosy Annexe at The Paddock | Hot tub

A welcoming self-catering accommodation set in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. We are situated in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir with views of the local castle and surrounded by lots of lovely walks and pubs. Whilst we are a very rural and peaceful location, you are only 30 minutes from Nottingham city centre, with Grantham and Leicester also a short drive. After running a bed and breakfast here in Redmile for forty years, the time has come for me to slow down and reduce my let rooms to just the one. Our lovely accommodation is now let on a self-catering basis, set within our family home and with its own entrance, fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom. The room has one double and one single bed, with room to add an additional single bed for a child or a cot. On arrival we provide you with a welcome breakfast hamper to start your stay, please let us know if you have any special requirements or requests. Along with your room you have private use of the hot tub which overlooks the fields and you are welcome to enjoy our garden facilities during the warmer months, including our BBQ. As a dog friendly accommodation we welcome well-behaved dog’s for £5 per night, Bailey our cavapoo is very friendly and loves meeting all of our four legged guests that come to stay! Your room at The Paddock has it's own entrance with ramped access for you to come and go as you please, I will be there to handover the key and show you in on your arrival. We have plenty of off-road parking. If you are planning a celebration please contact us if you would like anything else such as afternoon tea / canapés/ champagne etc. We are based within the beautiful vale of Belvoir, a very peaceful and rural location home to the grand Belvoir Castle (3 minute drive) which is open to the public. Within the Belvoir estate you can visit the Engine yard (3 minute drive), the castles unique retail village. This makes for a lovely afternoon out for a browse around the shops and small garden centre, a lovely spot for brunch in the Fuel Tank or even for a weekend tipple in their gorgeous Gin bar - The Balloon Bar. We are based half a mile outside the village of Redmile, along side the Grantham canal, where you certainly aren't short of walks around the area from canals, quiet roads or even off the beaten track! Some of our favourite nearby places to eat & drink: - The Windmill (Redmile) - The Chequeres (Woolsthorpe) - Nags Head (Harby) - The Thatch (Bottesford) - Dickies Farm Dining(Plungar) We are more than happy to get you booked in or share further recommendations of places to eat and drink in the area for your stay. Whilst there is public transport around us it is very limited so please don't come relying on that! We have multiple taxi contacts who can be booked during your stay. If you are visiting Nottingham for the night a taxi home is generally around £35-£45. We offer beauty therapies and massage in our log cabin that we like to call the ZenDen, please just get in touch with me prior to your arrival if you would like to add any treatments on to your stay.
