Our charming Victorian cottage is a great place from which to explore the South Downs. Surrounded by open countryside with unspoiled views over open parkland with public footpaths on the doorstep. Explore Brighton & the coast. Retreat back to the countryside after a busy day. Hurstpierpoint High St- 10 minutes walk from the cottage with an abundance of shops, restaurants, and pubs. Excellent location, 9 miles to Brighton, 4.1 miles to Hickstead Showjumping Ground & Gatwick Airport only 20 miles. The property features a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer Lounge - Sofa, Sofa Bed, Log Burner, TV, and lots of games for the kids. Dining Area - Large beautiful table with seating for 6. Ideal for group dinner parties or family gatherings. Downstairs Bathroom with Bath & Separate W.C Lounge - Comfortable and well-equipped living area with ample seating and a good size Log Burner for cozy nights in. A sofa bed is also provided. Additional £15 per night for use of sofa bed. Three bedrooms - 1x Double, 1 Twin or King and 1x Single each with plenty of storage. *Bedroom 2 can either be set up as a twin room or a king room for 2x guests. Please specify your preference so we can set the room as to your requirements. Upstairs Bathroom with Bath, Basin & W.C The garden is large and private with a beautiful lawn. There is a very sunny patio for great BBQ which gets the sun all day until sunset during the Summer months. Warning low ceilings/beams in places.. You have access to the entire cottage. Danny Lodge is situated in the grounds of the owner's "Grand Designs" home located on a quiet country lane. The cottage is fully managed by Michelle who will be on hand to answer any queries you may have during your stay. All contact details will be provided within the Welcome Notes. You will receive a link to a welcome book for the Studio for your reference. Danny Lodge is located in the desirable village of Hurstpierpoint and ideally situated for our guests to take full advantage of country life, with many woodland walks and public footpaths on the doorstep. The popular High Street is only a short walk away with Gastro cozy Pubs, a Bistro/Wine Bar, Cafes, Co-Op, Butchers, Bakers, Restaurants & Gift Shops. For the kids, keep them entertained at Washbrooks Farm with animals, indoor soft play, outdoor bouncing pillow, trampolines & much more. Just before your stay you will receive a link to our e-book which contains lots of useful information about the cottage and the surrounding area.
