La casetta di Maria alla Ciba is a welcoming family house recently renovated, located in a very quiet square in the historic center of Termini Imerese. The structure is divided into two floors. On the ground floor there is the living area with TV, kitchen complete with oven, fridge and freezer, table with chairs and a comfortable sofa bed for relax. The bathroom area offers a large shower. The upper area, reachable by a characteristic staircase decorated with ancient and suggestive Sicilian majolica, is equipped with a large bedroom characterized by a vintage floor, with a vaulted ceiling, a wardrobe and a small built-in wardrobe and attached bathroom with a large shower. From the bedroom there is also access to a small balcony overlooking the square. Both floors of the house benefit from a complete air conditioning system. All rooms have brand new double glazed shutters and mosquito nets, including the bathrooms. Guests will have access to the entire house because the structure is independent and autonomous. It is not allowed to bring pets. It is possible to smoke outside the house but not inside the structure. The house is located in the historic center of Termini Imerese in a strategic position to reach famous tourist destinations in western Sicily such as PALERMO (about 37 km), CEFALÙ (just over 30 km), AGRIGENTO (144 km), PIAZZA ARMERINA (130 km), the PARCO DELLE MADONIE (55 km), etc. In addition to these localities, just 11 km away is the town of CACCAMO, recognized among the "Authentic Villages of Italy", where the ancient defensive castle stands. We also recommend visiting the "Baldassare Romano" civic museum and the Antiquarium of Himera. A stone's throw from the house is the "Belvedere" from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view, the well-known "Villa Palmeri", the green lung of the city, and the monumental and ancient staircase of "Via Roma" which connects the upper city with the low. The nearest beach is the local one located in the lower part of the city at just over 2 km, while the beach known as "Pietra piatta" is 4 km away. If you prefer a sandy beach we recommend the "Lido Vetrana" at about 7 km. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils and kettle. A small hairdryer is also provided. The building is located in the historic center of Termini Imerese and has many services within walking distance without the need to use a car; among these tobacconists, bars, supermarkets, bakeries, pizzerias and much more.
