Arzberg is located in the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park, about 10 km from the Czech border. A day trip to the charming Prague is therefore one of the attractive possibilities in this holiday residence. Alternately, a visit to Nürnberg or Plzen, the birthplace of the Pilsner is recommended. The woods of the Bavarian Forest tempt you to go for long and leisurely strolls. A lot of porcelain is produced in this region. Do visit one of the porcelain factories during your holidays. Theatrical and musical events take place in the ancient castle of Thierstein during the summer months.
