House next the sea in Iceland

The house is situated in a little community not from Grindavík, which is about a half an hour car journey from Reykjavík and 20 minutes from Keflavík airport. There are very few people living in this area with more people living in Grindavík itself the whole house I am currently studying and also working a part time job and therefore usually very busy. I am living next to door to Sólbakki and should be able to meet you upon arrival - however if this is not possible then I will make alternative arrangements for someone to meet you with the key. I have worked for over 20 years as a tour guide in Iceland so if you want private tours or trips then we can discuss this, again depending on my availability. Please note that if you are staying at the house without a car then it takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to Gríndavík and the nearest local bus service and shops - the bus service in Gríndavík runs about 3 times a day and I will leave a copy of bus schedule in the house. If you wish to buy alcohol then it might be a good idea to do this at the airport. Please note that it is only possible to buy alcohol at the Vínbuðin shops which usually close around 18:00 and are not open on Sundays. The Vínbuðin in Gríndavík is open 14:00 - 18:00 Mon - Thurs, 12:00 - 18:00 Friday and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays It is not possible to buy alcohol in the supermarkets except for low alcohol pilsner.
