Allmans Heath Cottage Smithy
The Smithy is a delightful stone detached, single storey cottage with a turf and heather roof, hand carved oak doors and a woodburning stove. The cottage boasts amazing views over Swinshaw reservoir surrounded by the beautiful Peak District moorland. Cooking facilities: microwave combination oven/grill only. 2 ring hob. Small fridge. Guests have the entire cottage and are welcome to sit in my lovely garden They are greeted at the cottage by myself receiving a warm welcome with homemade goodies. The Smithy is nestled above the lovely Victorian town of Glossop in the Peak District. There are lovely public parks and a Victorian swimming pool. Restaurants in the town and locally cater for all tastes. On the edge of the Longendale Trail, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall,Bakewell and Eyam. Public transport is available in Glossop: regular trains into Manchester and bus services out of town. The Smithy is not on a transport route but is only one mile into the town centre.
