This large and beautiful house is set in peaceful and idyllic rural Normandy. The large country kitchen, living room and outdoor area are perfect for family and friends or just a get together. The rooms are a mix of multi bed sleepers and more private doubles, some with en-suite. The house, set in a large garden in the peaceful and green Normandy countryside has been designed with friends and family in mind. Downstairs, the living areas are the heart of the house. The sociable, homely kitchen and dining area is ideal for supper parties and getting everyone together. Opposite is the spacious yet cosy sitting room with lovely original features including huge stone fireplace with log burning fire where you can snuggle up and relax, watch TV (with HDMI connection and DVD player) or play a board game. There are 2 double rooms on the 1st floor one of which is en-suite, and also a beautiful bathroom with a huge and luxurious roll top bath. On the top floor are a further two large bedrooms which can be used as lovely doubles, one being en-suite, or they are large enough to sleep up a further 3 people in single beds, this option could be ideal for children's rooms. A camp cot, high chair and fire guard are available on request. Underfloor heating, parking for 4 cars, garden with seating area, BBQ and Pizza oven. The entire main house is yours to use. Phillip speaks fluent French, English and German and is a phone call away to help. .We have local people who are available at all times to deal with any requests or problems Quiet corner of Normandy with friendly farmer next door who the family know well. Within half an hour of the beach (and WW2 landing beaches) with lovely walks, runs and cycle routes nearby. There is a local shop for supplies and fresh bread and croissants. We are in the heart of the countryside , a car is the best way to get around. However, this means the local lanes and roads are ideal for bike rides. There is a room in the downstairs barn with a table tennis table and a dart board.If staying in the summer months there is plenty of outside space and garden furniture for you to use. For people coming with young children be aware there is a small garden pond approx 30cm deep that is not fenced off.
