The Spinney - cosy, peaceful, rural, base

The Spinney forms part of our barn conversion and adjoins the main house. The cottage has one double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room and bathroom. There is a small, fenced patio with parking outside. Our smallholding lies in open countryside within the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 2 miles from Castle Howard and 8 miles from Malton, Yorkshire’s food capital. This location is an excellent base from which to visit Castle Howard, Ryedale, The City of York, the Yorkshire Coast, The North York Moors - Heartbeat Country and The Yorkshire Dales. We are in a quiet and remote location with access to a good network of footpaths from the doorstep and our local pub is a 2 mile walk.
