Wisteria Lodge is a newly refurbished beautiful property dating back to the 1850s within the conservation area of the picturesque village of Airmyn located very close to the historic town of Howden. The large self-contained property benefits from having a large open plan living area with its own beautiful shower room, a spacious sized bedroom overlooking stunning views of the it's own enclosed garden. Wisteria Lodge is located in easy reach of York, Leeds, Beverley & the East Coast. Wisteria Lodge is a truly unique property which is a great place to escape and enjoy the country side. As well as having a Wood Burning and Multi Fuel Stove the lodge includes a Belfast sink with a Farrow and Ball finished rustic kitchen within a large open plan light living space with oak celing beams. The bedroom has a real country feel with double doors leading to the rear garden. Wisteria Lodge adjoins our own property and courtyard. We like to respect all guests privacy but can also be available to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. You can access the property via a key safe or we can welcome you personally. The property is situated across from the river Aire where you'll be able to enjoy lovely sunsets and lots of wildlife. You'll also be able to visit the local Percy Arms to enjoy an extensive menu of quality food and also enjoy a range of traditional beers. The Lodge is situated 2 minutes from the historic town of Howden where you'll be able to visit the minster as well as visiting the extensive range of shops and delicatessen's including the famous "The Kitchen". Howden station is situated 10 minutes drive from Wisteria Lodge. It is a perfect base to explore the county of Yorkshire. From Howden Train station its only 2 hours to London Kingscross station. By car we are 25 minutes drive to York, 25 minutes to Beverley, 40 minutes to Leeds and can be at the east coast at Whitby or Scarborough in just over an hour.
