VOLTES HOUSE in Monemvasia's castle

"Voltes" house (80m2) is located inside the castle of Monemvasia, 30 metres away from its entrance gate. The front house is facing the only commercial alley of this fortress-city. In "Voltes" ground floor you can taste many traditional dishes based on local products («Voltes Restaurant»). Just across the house and all the way to the main alley you can find cafės, bars, restaurants and a convenience store. The house was reconstructed in 1997, according to the castle's superb and unique architecture and it was partially renovated in 2015. The interior is separated in two rooms. The first one is a bedroom with a double bed and a spacious bathroom. The second one is an open floor plan for living, dining and kitchen areas. There is a sofa bed, an armchair-bed and another bathroom. Its small wooden balcony faces the main cobbled street. ATTENTION! You need to be aware that no vehicles are allowed inside the castle. Follow the signage in order to park properly. Moreover, a bus is available for your transportation from "Yefyra" to the castle as well as taxis. "Voltes" house is extremely near to the entrance gate.
