The Shippon

Our beautiful newly refurbished camping barn is perfect for a weekend away in the countryside or if you want a walking holiday. Located on the edge of the village, you are close to pubs, the shop and even a fish and chip shop. We have footpaths running through the land and the manifold trail just a 10 minute walk away. Dogs are also welcome to come with you on your holiday. Sleeping 4 people comfortably, basic cooking facilities and a comfortable feel. Dogs are welcome. We have a footpath through our land so is perfect if you are on a walking holiday or just fancy a weekend away in the heart of the beautiful countryside. If you are bringing horses with you, it is just next to the stables and we have parking very close on site for no extra cost. There is an electric heater so even in the cold of winter, you will be nice and cosy. We have 1 double bed and a set of adult size bunk beds that are super comfortable and have bedding provided. Washing up, toilet and shower facilities are just 20 metres away across the yard in a separate building. There is also a sofa to relax on and set of board games for a little extra fun. Strictly no SMOKING inside of the barn. ***Note: we do not supply towels. The sink is 20 metres away across the yard*** We live on the farm so any problems or questions, please just ask. We are located on the edge of the village so there is everything you need in a 5 minute walk. There is a bus stop at the end of the drive so if your on a walking holiday, you can easily get to both Leek and Ashbourne.
