Well located with M1/M6/A14 5 miles and Rugby 4 miles away A self-contained semi-vaulted, one bed-roomed apartment which was completed in 2019 as an annexe to the main house. All ground floor accommodation (approx. 65.5 sq.m (700 sq.ft)) with a generous open plan living room incorporating a fully equipped kitchen. Spacious bedroom (including a built-in wardrobe) with a king-size bed. Modern shower room with wash basin, toilet and thermostatically controlled mixer shower. Well-equipped throughout including built in cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, pots, pans & cutlery, washer/dryer, Broadband/Wi-Fi, smoke alarm and TV/DVD players (both with Freeview) in the living room and bedroom. Centrally heated with own room thermostat. Plenty of off road parking space. All rooms listed in the description and access to the outdoor patio area. My wife and I have lived in the main house for over 30 years and therefore have lots of local knowledge. We can be on hand as you like or alternatively we can leave you entirely alone. Check in will either be done personally or by getting the keys from the keybox. Centrally located in Barby, a small, attractive thriving village 4 miles south of Rugby and 6 miles north of Daventry. Barby has a village pub 3 mins walk away and well-stocked village shop and Post Office even closer. The Oxford Canal, with 4 local marinas, only a mile away. Well located, with central London approx. 60 mins away by train from Rugby, Birmingham International Airport and NEC 40 mins, Silverstone 20 mins drive, Leamington Spa, Stratford town & theatres, Warwick and Coventry all approx. 20 mins drive and the Cotswolds less than 1 hr away. Rugby with its town, museum and public school only 4 miles away. Great central location with the M1/M6/A14 interchange 5 miles away. Hourly bus route nearby to Rugby and Northampton (via Daventry). Plenty of local rural footpaths to explore. We occasionally provide holiday accommodation for well behaved dogs, but they are restricted to the main house and back garden. They are not be allowed into the Annexe. We intend for our guests to have the utmost privacy during their stay, however we live right next door and are available for any help or advice that our guests may need.
