Gate farm lodge

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This really is getting away from it all. Peace and tranquillity with beautiful walks surrounding the lodge. Our home is in the middle of nowhere. With a small market town just 8 minutes away by car, with a 360 view of fields and trees wherever you look. The lodge is private and peaceful. Perfect for a quiet, romantic few nights away. We also offer use of a hot tub for an additional charge of £20 per night. You will have the lodge to yourself. Seating area with beautiful view outside. The lodge is separate from our house overlooking acres of working farmland. The lodge is basically a lovely hotel room with a beautiful view. There is no kitchen. But we do have a microwave,kettle and fridge.Everything is brand new and clean. We purposely don’t have cooking facilities or pets so the lodge stays clean and fresh for our guests. A cooked breakfast and bike hire is also available for a separate fee. As is the hot tub use. These need to be pre booked in advance. Parking on our large driveway. Let yourself in with the lockbox. I will say hi when you arrive and answer any questions about the local area. And will leave you alone for your privacy unless you need me. We are a family of three and are very quiet and respectful. You won’t even know we are there! Unless you want to chat of course. For guests that stay longer than 2 nights I will clean any dishes that you might have and provide clean towels. Please let me know if you are booking for a special occasion and I will do my best to accommodate. Nothing is too much trouble. Based just outside of Elmsett in Suffolk this is a stunning small village with miles of open farmland. The village has a pub that you can walk to and a post office/ shop to buy a few bits. Miles of gorgeous footpaths for long walks surround the lodge and it’s brilliant for cyclists to enjoy the routes. We often see the cycle clubs passing by. We are a short drive away from Hintlesham hall , perfect if you are attending a wedding there, and a lot more budget friendly . Also Kersey mill is local for weddings. We are based centrally to lots of beautiful places to explore. Walking and cycling are perfect for this area. Driving around these small country lanes is a pleasure. We are rural and away from everything but near enough to drive to places if you fancy being more sociable. We are in the heart of the countryside, perfect for chilling out and recharging the batteries. If you want to explore Suffolk some more we are close to Kersey, Lavenham and Dedham . All stunning scenery and lovely days out. This is for adults only. No dogs. It’s a new, modern space overlooking open , working farmland. Please note there are no cooking facilities. But I do provide in the lodge a light continental breakfast to get you going for the day. Stop. Rest. Rejuvenate. There is also a small fridge to store milk and wine of course! And a microwave. A cooked full English is available for an extra charge of £10 per person as is bike hire for £10 per person per day.
